Resolution

This can be achieved from the BIOS of the server. Follow the steps below:
  1. Get into the BIOS of the server by pressing the F9 key during POST.
  2. Select the System Configuration menu and press Enter.
  3. Select the LOM Port 1 of the 560 FLR Network Card and press the Enter key which will inturn get into the configuration page of the Network Card as shown below:
  4. Press the F7 key in BIOS which will restore the network card to factory defaults. And then Press the F10 key to save the changes.

  5. This activity has to be performed on both the ports of the 560 FLR/T Network Card.

  6. Reboot of the server is required for the changes to take effect.

Note:
  1. Restore Defaults settings in BIOS does not always clear the Network Card configuration.

  2. Resetting the server to Manufacturer Settings from BIOS Screen does not clear the Network Configuration.

  3. Clearing the NVRAM by using the System Maintenance Switch does the job, however this requires physical intervention.
